Transitioning Metadata from SEO Ultimate to SEOPress
With SEOPress, seamlessly transfer all your post metadata from SEO Ultimate. Here's what you can import:
- Title tags
- Meta descriptions
- Facebook Open Graph tags: title, description, and image thumbnail
- Meta Robots: noindex, nofollow
Migration Steps:
- Head to SEO > Tools > Plugins in your dashboard.
- Choose SEO Ultimate.
- Hit Migrate now.
Once completed, feel free to deactivate and uninstall the SEO Ultimate plugin from your WordPress admin.
Key Points:
- SEOPress doesn't import term metadata since SEO Ultimate lacks this feature.
- For optimal performance, it's advisable to keep only one SEO plugin active to prevent potential conflicts.
