Transfer Metadata from Platinum SEO Pack to SEOPress
SEOPress streamlines the process of importing all your metadata from the Platinum SEO Pack. You can seamlessly transition the following data:
- Title tags
- Meta description
- Facebook Open Graph attributes: title, description, and image thumbnail
- Twitter details: title, description, and image thumbnail
- Meta Robots: noindex, nofollow, noarchive, nosnippet, and noimageindex
- Canonical URL
- Redirect URL
- Primary category
- Keywords
Migration Steps:
- Head to SEO > Tools > Plugins.
- Choose Platinum SEO Pack.
- Press Migrate now.
After completing the migration, you should deactivate and then uninstall the Platinum SEO Pack plugin from your WordPress dashboard.
Important Note:
- Always avoid running two SEO plugins at the same time to prevent potential conflicts.
WARNING: Migration might alter or remove SEOPress post metadata, but your Platinum SEO Pack data remains unaffected.
